Tecnovial's Engineering Department has developed a tank solution specially designed for implementation in fire networks. Its structure based on corrugated steel plates allows important advantages in the development of the project.
Structural resistance: Its structural resistance allows it to support large loads for use in bridges and underpasses. Because it is flexible and elastic, it has high resistance to earthquakes.
Efficient Transport: Because it is composed of prone to be bolted plates, it can be transported to remote and difficult to access areas. As an example, a truck with a flat ramp can transport about 500 meters of 800 mm pipes.
Easy assembly: The installation of the structure does not require specialized personnel or equipment.
Ecological and reusable: The structures can be easily disassembled and transported in case of relocation. Also, steel is 100% recyclable which makes it an environmentally friendly solution.
Durable: Steel is a high strength material which can be complemented with a Magnelis finish, and other coatings such as galvanized and epoxy.
¿Cómo se estructura nuestra solución de estanques?.
We work based on corrugated steel plates bolted together, hydraulically sealed with PVC liner or butyl seal and concrete slab. The tank is installed embedded in a reinforced concrete ring, which serves as a structural foundation. The roof is made up of structural steel trusses covered with corrugated steel or PV-4.
Accessories. Tecnovial tanks incorporate hydraulic connection for pump return, overflow, anti-vortex plate, 24” manhole, vertical external ladder with cage for fall protection, hatch, platform, and roof vent. The finish of all the elements of the tank is galvanization.
