Tecnovial's mixed wood-metal systems are a certified solution based on real impact tests (Crash Test), offering optimal levels of safety for route users. Its excellent aesthetics allows in turn to harmonize the natural environment of a landscape with the tourist routes that cross it.

The wood used by Tecnovial's mixed wood-metal certified system is to radiata pine produced in Chile whose mechanical characteristics are described in NCh 1198. They were also certified by technical report number 2014-07 of the University of Santiago de Chile. The wood impregnation system was carried out in accordance with the Chilean Standard NCh 819 for a R3 risk group.

The Metal Wood Mixed Road Barriers have the following advantages:

They move and assemble quickly requiring little maintenance since its components are made of galvanized steel and its wood coating has a special treatment that makes it resistant to various climatic conditions.
Despite its natural and harmonious with the environment appearance, it offers resistance and safety, having passed the impact tests required for its preparation and sale in the European Union under the European standard EN 1317-2 (Volume 6 of the Road Manual).
